A cozy small-town romance series

Silverbell Hollow

A small town where everyone meddles, no one forgets, and love always finds its way back home. Maple-tree-lined streets, pumpkin spice in the air, and the kind of slow-burn romance that builds like firewood — quietly, until the whole thing catches.

Book One

A Merry Misdeal

Fake-dating her grumpy boss for the holidays sounded simple. Then they got snowed in.

the story

It was supposed to be a business arrangement. I would not catch feelings. I would not be charmed. I would not — under any circumstances — kiss Alexander Voss.

All my boss wanted was a date to his sister’s holiday wedding in Silverbell Hollow. A buffer. Someone to deflect his mother’s questions about when he was going to settle down already.

I needed the bonus he was offering. Badly.

So I said yes. I said yes to four days in a snowed-in mountain town pretending to be in love with the man who has been my impossible, unsmiling boss for the past eighteen months. The man who has never once said a kind word to me. The man who definitely, definitely doesn’t think of me as anything other than ‘Miss Reyes.’

Except then we got to the inn. And there was — of course — only one bed. And Alexander Voss, the man who has never once smiled at me, looked at me in the doorway and said, very softly: “I’ll take the floor.”

Holiday rules were made to be broken. And Alexander Voss is about to break every single one of mine.

What readers have to say

★★★★★

ONE BED. FAKE DATING. SNOWED IN. GRUMPY BOSS. KJ said ‘let me hit you with every trope I own’ and then she DELIVERED. Best holiday romance I’ve read in years.

Alexander Voss saying ‘I’ll take the floor’ is permanently lodged in my brain. The slow burn was painful in the best way. I rationed the last 100 pages.

Olivia is everything — the warmth, the wit, the absolute audacity to fall for this man who barely smiles. This book made me cackle and then sob. 10/10.

I devoured this in one night. Ethan Wilder is the kind of book boyfriend who ruins you for fictional men everywhere — and Natalie absolutely held her own. The chemistry crackled from page one.

Workplace romance done right. The slow burn turned into a wildfire and I was here for every second. The age-gap tension was *chef’s kiss*.

KJ Raffat writes the most deliciously tortured heroes. The ‘stick turned pink’ scene had me screaming into my pillow. I need book two yesterday.
